The bouldering weekend far exceeded my expectations…

…The two factors that ‘made’ the trip were; first and foremost; our instructors, Amber and Sam. They were welcoming, friendly, organised, safety conscious, enthusiastic, and had so much to teach us. I felt I was ‘pushed’ or rather, encouraged, to just the right level, a little outside my comfort zone….. enough to make me super keen to take it to the next level. And we had fun…Amber and Sam set a lovely tone and we had a laugh.
The second factor was Fontainebleau itself. It’s quite something when you visit for the first time; almost ‘other worldly’ and our Rock & Sun trainers knew where to go to get the most out of the time we had. It also helped that it was a gorgeous weekend.
I would recommend Rock & Sun to anyone, beginner or not; the bouldering is endlessly variable.
Finally, I was fortunate to be with such a nice group with the perfect mix of know how. Well done Rock & Sun….brilliant!
