Esther Foster
Esther Foster (MIA) lives in Yorkshire and loves climbing! “Whether it’s long days in the mountains, pulling hard on limestone sport crags or doing funky moves on a boulder…I’m pretty happy when I’m climbing. It’s a sport with something for everyone. You can explore new places, meet new people, push yourself physically and mentally, and enjoy an activity which is inclusive and inspiring no matter who you are. I aim to still be in the hills and pulling myself up rock climbs when I’m 80!”
“I studied for a degree in Outdoor Studies and since then have gained many years experience working in the outdoor industry with a wide variety of clients, activites and locations. I am also experienced in youth development work and have planned and delivered many personal and social development courses through the outdoors.”
“I always continue to pursue my own passion for the outdoors in my personal time, particularly in rock climbing. I enjoy being outdoors regardless of the grade, but some specific highlights have been trad climbing up to E5, sport climbing up to 8a, and bouldering V9.”
“I really enjoy teaching and coaching others to develop skills for themselves, no matter what level they’re at, and love sharing my passion with other people.”
