Area Description:
The Picos de Europa is an undiscovered gem in the heart of Spain’s Costa Verde, this “Green Coast” so named for its lush verdant countryside and outstanding scenery. These stunning limestone mountains rise from the edge of the Bay of Biscay to more than 8000 feet; the jagged mountain peaks are decorated in summer with snow fields and high meadows whilst rivers of melt-water have carved the soluble limestone over millennia to form deep valleys and rocky gorges.

In the summer, the high Picos de Europa is a paradise for multi-pitch limestone rock climbing, with the Naranjo de Bulnes forming the peak of most climbers’ aspirations. The valleys and foothills that surround the higher peaks provide the ideal environment for sport climbing and multi-activity holidays based the comfort of your family-run hotel. On rest days, the local villages provide a rich cultural back-drop and fishing ports and surf beaches on the Atlantic coast are within easy reach.

These one week holidays are designed for anyone who wants an active holiday with hotel accommodation in a beautiful mountain environment. We offer multi-activity, general climbing, and multi-pitch climbing holidays.

• The Multi-Activity Holiday is ideal for individuals, groups of friends, families with children aged 14 and over, and partners of people on one of our dedicated rock climbing holidays.

• The Sports Climbing Holiday is designed for climbers who already know how to belay and tie on, with climbing experience to around grade 5.
  Price £699: minimum 4 and maximum 6 clients per guide.

• Our Multi-pitch climbing Holiday is for rock climbers with some experience who want a chance to climb some fantastic peaks in one of Europe’s most impressive environments.

What's Included:
Our price includes:

• Airport transfers from and to Santander Airport on the Saturdays at the beginning and end of your holiday with us
• Seven nights accommodation, typically in the Hotel Torrecerredo, all rooms en-suite; the multi-pitch climbing holiday includes the option of 2 nights in a mountain hut under the Naranjo de Bulnes.
• Breakfast and packed lunch every day (except nights in the mountain hut)
• Activities as detailed in the Trip Notes
• All safety equipment not included in the ‘What to Take section in the Trip Notes.

Fly to:
Santander
Ryan Air operate cheap flights to Santander from London Stansted – we offer free hotel transfer on Saturdays.

Alternatively, fly to Bilbao or Asturias (Oviedo), for example with EasyJet from London Stansted and make your own way to the hotel.
